COO
Wanzl Nordic A/S, Hadsten (Formerly Known as Expedit A/S)
Are you a visible and motivating people manager capable of mobilizing your managers towards collective success? Do you contribute positively to leadership synergies across the entire business and within top management? Can you anchor an ambitious development towards robust, scalable processes and continuous improvements across the group and subsidiaries? If so, we are looking for you
Unlocking Potential through Industrialization and Scalability
As COO, you will be part of the top management team alongside the CEO and CFO. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the entire supply chain from sourcing/purchasing, planning, production across countries, PTA, logistics, warehouses, and third-party storage, as well as safety and quality. In total, approximately 250 employees will be your responsibility, managed daily by dedicated functional managers across the value chain. Your main task will be to further develop your area of responsibility with optimal cohesion between functions and across companies to realize synergies. In this way, you will support an ambitious business strategy, where supply chain, production and sourcing are continuously optimized in terms of delivery performance, scalability, flexibility, quality, and optimal utilization of capacities within the group and with strategic subcontractors and suppliers.
Modern and Experienced Manager who Translates Ambitions into Results through Execution
You possess a keen understanding of excellence in supply chain, sourcing and operations, and you are eager to take on a position where you can influence, develop and shape these areas of expertise. We assume that you are proficient in effective production and Lean principles within an industrial company - preferably with order production and shorter lead times supporting project/system sales. You come from a similar role, have experience from larger corporations, and thrive in an international context with Nordic responsibility. You are well-versed in change management, transformation, and execution. You possess a theoretical background as a Production Engineer or hold an equivalent technical education, complemented by relevant management tools. You have successfully applied this expertise in practice through effective leadership of managerial teams. You are a positive, visible, and present manager who naturally garners followership and drives lasting changes by mobilizing your managers and organization through delegation. You lead cultural changes and have the ability to strengthen the community and culture by being a prominent cultural bearer yourself. You are motivated by setting the direction for new strategic initiatives and translating them into executable projects based on the right structured project and execution models and KPIs. Fluency in both written and spoken Danish and English is essential. You possess extensive experience with ERP systems and demonstrate a data-driven approach in all your activities. Additionally, you are proficient in MS Excel and other relevant tools.
