Overview: We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison to join an expanding team. This role combines traditional field-based MSL activities with strategic Medical Advisor responsibilities, covering a range of therapy areas across the Nordics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. KOL Engagement: Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the medical community.
  2. Medical Education: Provide scientific and medical education to KOLs, physicians, healthcare professionals, and internal teams on our products, therapeutic areas, and disease states.
  3. Clinical Support: Serve as a scientific resource and provide clinical support for healthcare providers, including responding to inquiries about our products and clinical data.
  4. Strategic Input: Gather insights from KOLs and healthcare professionals to inform medical strategies and contribute to the development of medical plans.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Business Development.
  6. Conference Participation: Represent the company at medical conferences, symposiums, and advisory boards to enhance scientific exchange and gather competitive intelligence.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Advanced degree in life sciences (MSc or PhD), medicine, or pharmacy.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience as an MSL or in a medical affairs role.
  3. Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language.
  4. Valid driver's license.
  5. Knowledge of local healthcare systems, market dynamics, licensing regulations, health economic techniques, and experience interacting with health authorities and appraisal agencies.
  6. Experience in reviewing and approving promotional and non-promotional materials.
  7. Experience with specialty (secondary care) products and therapy areas.
  8. Experience in a small to medium-sized pharmaceutical company is desirable.
