We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team at a fine dining restaurant in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries that will delight our guests. You must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Create and prepare high-quality desserts and pastries according to the restaurant's standards
• Develop new menu items that showcase your creativity and knowledge of current pastry trends
• Ensure all desserts are presented beautifully with attention to detail
• Manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Train and mentor junior pastry chefs

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
• Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail with a creative eye for design
• Strong communication skills
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this full-time position. In addition, we provide opportunities for growth within the company.
