A well-established construction company in Horsens is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment This position does not require previous experience making it a great opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to start their career in the construction industry We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month and do not require candidates to have accommodation arrangements or a biometric passport We welcome applicants of all genders to apply for this role
Responsibilities
- Perform various masonry tasks such as building repairing and maintaining structures using bricks stones concrete blocks and other materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and other construction plans
- Mix mortar and concrete according to specifications
- Use hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively
- Follow safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
- Maintain clean work area and ensure proper storage of tools and materials
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Good physical stamina and dexterity
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements
- Willingness to learn new skills on the job
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in construction or masonry is an asset but not required
- Completion of a masonry apprenticeship program
- Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations
