Team & Role Profile

Client Services is a team of dedicated professionals in charge of GCEX's trading and client operational processes. To improve processes and reduce risk, the team collaborates closely with Sales, Technology and Finance, as well as introducing and implementing new products and services. At all times we are focused on providing excellent customer service, offering client support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This role is based in our offices in Copenhagen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately settling and documenting daily transactions (daily reconciliation).
  • Identifying and managing operational risks.
  • Providing tailored trading and technology solutions to meet client needs.
  • Management of clients' day-to-day requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Knowledge of derivative products preferable, including currencies/FX, commodities, crypto assets or other OTC derivatives.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, including interfacing across all levels with vendors and clients.
  • Capability to lead and contribute to technical client-facing presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work to stringent deadlines.
  • Ability to partner with colleagues across functions and lead effectively across geographical boundaries.
  • Strong experience with MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Functional knowledge of operations, trade and settlement lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with trading and back-office platforms.
  • Knowledge of FIX and Websocket API is advantageous.
  • Applicants with a second language, including Japanese, will be prioritised and strong communication in English is to be expected.
