We are expanding and are looking for an Analyst to join our Financial Strategy team in Copenhagen. The Financial Strategy team is a specialist unit within Corporate Banking, Large Corporates & Financial Institutions, undertaking strategic advisory projects towards clients in our main segments; Energy, Large Corporates, Real Estate and Shipping.

What you will be doing
As part of our Corporate Banking team, you will be a contributor in providing strategic advisory projects to our client base covering all aspects of the Capital Structure, hence collaborating closely with relevant product areas i.e. Corporate Finance/Equity Capital Markets, Loan Origination, Family Office & Investment Holdings, Debt Advisory, Debt Capital Markets (Investment Grade, Cross-over, non-rated etc.), Markets etc. In this role you will attend client meetings, prepare presentations and over time creating theme-based pitches. You will also be part of SEB's global Financial Strategy team with approximately 34 professionals located across our offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Helsinki, London, Oslo and Warsaw.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an effective team player with willingness to expand your knowledge and develop within SEB's advisory field. You should have a creative and innovative mindset, passion for learning, and a collaborative nature. To succeed in this position, you should have a master's degree from a University/Business School with focus on financial analysis skills and excellent technical skills within MS Office. You need to be structured and able to work with several simultaneous projects in different countries. Most importantly you would need to have the ambition and eagerness to develop yourself professionally.

In additional to educational and technical skills, the ideal applicant should meet the following criteria:

· Strong interest in Investment Banking, focusing on the largest clients in our home markets

· Strong quantitative skills and paired with strong communication & presentation skills

· An ability to work equally well independently and in group settings

· Excellent language skills in Danish and English – both oral and written

You will have to demonstrate yourself to be a person with integrity, initiative, and a high level of productivity, consistently delivering a high-quality work product. You need to be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, as well as being a good representative for SEB's values. You should be excited about the prospect of working in an initiative-taking Copenhagen based client facing team.
