Are you the new Solutions Manager for Photomate?

Photomate is a regional leader in the distribution of inverters for photovoltaics and electric energy storage systems. Photomate has had a successful start in Scandinavia and is now rapidly expanding its activities and is committed to becoming Scandinavia's leading supplier of photovoltaic systems and electrical energy storage systems. They are now looking for a Solutions Manager to their Danish office.

Your role

The Solution Manager is responsible for analyzing the customer's demand, providing optimized solution to customer, delivering solution value to customer. Duties include leading an ambitious build-up of market share by expanding businesses, partnerships, and entering new markets

The job tasks include:

  • Perform Market Analysis and suggest the Sales strategy/Product roadmap
  • Product planning, analyze Technical demand/Product function/License
  • Analyze Development trend of solar inverter market
  • Technical solution verification with customer & solution optimization to ensure the leading edge
  • Technical training for customers
  • Support project bidding by preparing technical proposal
  • Close cooperation with Sales department (trainings, meetings, exhibitions, presentations)

Your background

You are expected to have a friendly and professional demeanor like the rest of our team. You are analytical and able to look at the sales department holistically to see which process, contracts, market strategies can be optimized.

Furthermore, it is expected that you have the following professional skills:

  • Experience in handling complex organizations and projects through an understanding of systems and products.
  • Ability to communicate both technically and commercially.
  • Technical background, with a preference for a background in electronic/electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automatic control engineering.
  • Knowledge of Photovaltics, renewable energy or experience from a similar industry
  • 3 years of sales experience, with 1 year in the solar PV industry and/or energy storage systems

A basic education in sales or similar, along with a background in electronics or energy will be considered as an advantage. Furthermore, you must be fluent/professional in Danish and English, both written and oral.

The work location is in Copenhagen and you will work closely with other Scandinavian offices and colleagues. At Photomate they value positivity, fairness, and a friendly approach.
