Locke Copenhagen is scheduled to open in early March 2026 and will be a key part of Copenhagen’s vibrant new district – Postbyen. Postbyen is a modern urban area in the heart of Copenhagen, located between the Central Station and Kalvebod Brygge. Locke Copenhagen will offer 234 stylish rooms spread across two iconic round towers, with rooms located up to 70 meters high, along with a signature restaurant, a buzzing cocktail bar, and a rooftop bar with stunning 360-degree views of the city and waterfront. We're looking for a Head Chef to join our team Start date: Preferably start/mid January 2026, but latest 1. February  The role We’re looking for a confident kitchen leader — someone steady under pressure, highly organised, and with a sharp eye for quality. You take pride in running a smooth service and creating dishes that stay with our guests long after they’ve left. Reporting to the F&B Manager, you’ll be a key part of the F&B team and a central figure in shaping the Locke dining experience. You’ll set the tone in the kitchen, lead your team with clarity and confidence, and help create the kind of atmosphere guests want to return to again and again. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership Lead and guide the kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality dishes. Food Safety & Compliance Ensure full adherence to food hygiene standards and all health and safety regulations. Inventory & Ordering Oversee kitchen stock levels, manage ordering and maintain accurate stock control. Training & Development Support, train and develop kitchen staff to strengthen skills and overall performance. Collaboration & Guest Experience Work closely with the management team to create a dining experience guests remember for the right reasons. You’ll succeed in the above with: Strong leadership and communication skills Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar leadership role Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Relevant culinary qualifications Values you’ll share with us: Courage to question, evolve and be human Curiosity and creativity in how you think and work Confidence to challenge convention and look for better ways to do and be Accountability and the desire to empower those around you Locke Hotels Ready for something new?
