Student Assistant for Research Projects on the Impact of Large-Scale Funding

The Department of Organization is seeking a highly motivated Student Assistant to join our growing research area focusing on the organizational and societal impact of large-scale funding. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to two exciting research projects that aim to develop new theoretical insights into how funding and changes in field-level financial structures shape organizational and societal outcomes. These projects explore how grants from large-scale philanthropic organizations influence the goals, professions, and outcomes of universities. The research spans several domains, including management, organization, and innovation.

Work tasks
The job involves assisting Principal Investigator Associate Professor Jane Bjørn Vedel and her team with a variety of research and administrative tasks related to the research area outlined above. These tasks include desktop data collection, organizing data (documents, interviews, meetings), analysis and coding of data, mapping and reviewing academic literature, organizing meetings, events, and trips, updating the website, managing social media posts, and other related activities.

Qualifications
The selected candidate has the following qualifications:

- You have a strong interest in organization, management and innovation as well as abilities in conducting qualitative and quantitative academic research;
- Fluency in English and Danish;
- You are able to work independently and professionally with the tasks at hand;
- You are comfortable with excel and NVivo and able to work with large data sets in a structured manner;
- You are able to use social media to create and deliver project-relevant content;
- You are eager to contribute to an exciting research topic and make a difference.

Payment and hire
Employment will take place according to the HK organization agreement and the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Tax and Public Employees' Organizations (OAO-S Joint Agreement).

The salary is between DKK 141,14 to DKK 148,06 and depends on previous employment within the office subject and level of education. The pension contribution amounts to 16% of the pensionable salary components.

It is a prerequisite for employment that the candidate is an active student at a higher educational institution.

The job requires 12 hours a week and will be remunerated according to the price per hour established by the university.

The job will start on May 15, 2025, and will end one year after.
