The Position
We are investigating setting up a new, groundbreaking warehouse hub that utilizes modern technology with fully automated operations and digitalized processes, to support the extensive growth of our Kalundborg site. As a Quality Assurance Professional and Work Package Owner (WPO), you will play a key role in leading quality assurance practices for API expansion and future warehousing operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing quality assurance for CAPEX projects, ensuring the highest quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence through science and risk-based validation methods. You will work in a dynamic and international environment and you will:
• Serve as a point of contact for the management team, ensuring that best practices and strategy for validation are applied across the project.
• Coordinate the quality assurance activities related to validation in the project, implementing methodologies to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Facilitate the integration of quality assurance into project workflows by collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain robust validation strategies.
• Oversee quality assurance routines throughout all phases of the expansion project, including design, construction, qualification, and validation, ensuring stable and compliant processes.
• Lead initiatives to promote a culture of quality and compliance, utilizing data-driven approaches to enhance decision making and continuous improvement across the project.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
• A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Pharmacy, Production, Engineering, Automation or a similar field.
• Proven experience from the pharmaceutical industry preferably within project execution, qualification, and validation routines either as a QA professional or Operational professional.
• Preferably you have experience in qualification, validation, design and operation within GxP regulated facilities.
• Good communication, stakeholder management skills combined with some experience with work packages/projects ownership and execution.
• Practical experience in quality risk management, supplier management, and validation activities.

You thrive in a multicultural environment working across organizational borders and management levels. About the department
The PS API Expansions QA works to ensure involvement in investment projects aiming to establish compliant and timely approved facilities and setting the foundation for flawless operation of our new facilities. The department collaborates with API production areas, internal and external stakeholders both in DK and international. The position is in a newly established department, that is a part of an organization of 3 other departments within API Expansions QA. You will have a key role in the establishment of the culture for this new department. We highly value open communication and strong collaboration among our team.
