The Monitoring & Screening Tribe is accountable for enabling real-time screening and retrospective monitoring of transactions and trade flows. We support the entire Group and play a central role in Danske Banks financial crime prevention within Anti Money Laundering, Counterterrorist financing, Sanctions risk mitigation and Fraud prevention.

We are looking for a Product Owner who will sit in the AML monitoring clusters and support development of our Quantexa use cases. The cluster contains roughly 60 people from different backgrounds and nationalities, located across Denmark, India and Lithuania.

Inspire team members, drive stakeholder collaboration and own product development

As Product Owner, you will drive and prioritize the backlog through being in close dialogue with stakeholders to understand issues and needs, while you create outcomes and vision to support staying ahead of financial crime in the future.

You will work with our Quantexa monitoring platform and will be accountable for development and maintenance of the product including the detection models. A typical day would involve working with highly technical squad members, to guide them on the delivery of the backlog related to e.g. data sourcing requests, platform upgrades or developing new detection models. In addition, also helping compliance experts, business owners or fellow product owners understand how the solution is used in the best way possible to prevent financial crime.

Are you a technology-expert inspirational product leader?

We are looking for a great product leader that can motivate the team and make sure we deliver. Sounds simple? We know it is not and that is also why we do not expect you to tick off all the boxes on both business performance and IT side. However, we do need you to bring;

- Experience as Product Owner or Project Manager and ability to create and deliver on a product road map and sufficient knowledge of data sourcing in an agile set-up.
- Having good technical skills while having a good business understanding will greatly assist while navigating the complex stakeholder landscape.
- Understanding of AML.
- Previous experience with Transaction Monitoring.
- Ability to oversee all stages of product creation including design and development.
- Understanding of a Software Release Process and Release practices.

… So that you have the ability to leverage your squad members and have a good understanding of the field that we operate in.

In addition, although you are not required to build new monitoring flows yourself, it helps to be able to speak the lingo, so that things are not lost in translation.
