Do you have deep expertise in solar PV systems and a track record of turning technical complexity into clear, actionable standards? We are looking for a Senior Global Technology Specialist, PV to shape how Eurowind operates and develops its solar portfolio across markets.
Who we are
Eurowind Energy is a global and leading developer, owner and operator of energy parks. Based in Denmark, we operate in 16 countries around Europe and in the USA, and we are continuously growing our project portfolio. We believe in a future of renewable energy, and we have an ambitious plan of becoming the next generation's "Power Major". Based on a full value chain from greenfield project development to energy trading, more than 700 team members are dedicated to creating a greener future fueled with nothing but renewable energy
We are looking for an experienced Senior Global Technology Specialist, PV, to join our Global Reliability & Surveillance team within Technical Operations. You will report to Global Manager, Reliability & Surveillance, Jakob Holm Nielsen. Based in Porto or Hobro, you will set the technical direction for PV operations across Eurowind's international portfolio.
Your role
You will own PV lifecycle strategy and technical standards in a team purpose-built to set the global direction for how Eurowind operates. Working autonomously and with the trust of your manager and colleagues, you translate complex technical challenges into frameworks that work across markets.
- Developing and improving PV O&M strategies, lifecycle frameworks, and technical standards covering operation, retrofit, repowering, and decommissioning
- Drawing on performance data and failure analysis to identify reliability improvement opportunities and drive operational adjustments across the portfolio
- Leading technical evaluation and preparing decision material for lifecycle, performance, and investment cases
- Contributing PV expertise to major incident analysis and defining corrective and preventive actions
- Specifying commissioning and handover requirements, capturing lessons learned, and ensuring cross-technology alignment
- Serving as the interface between global offices, the PV competence center, and the PV O&M knowledge base
What we offer
A newly formed specialist team with a real mandate
- and the autonomy to execute it. You are expected to lead your area, not just support it.
- True ownership of strategies and standards that shape PV operations globally
- A team of specialists where your expertise carries direct weight
- An international role with occasional travel across Eurowind's 16+ country portfolio
- A position at one of Europe's most ambitious renewable energy companies Required competencies and skills Deep technical knowledge combined with the ability to work within governance structures, set direction independently, and make complexity accessible across functions.
- Strong expertise in solar PV systems
- technology, performance analysis, and failure patterns
- Experience with O&M strategy, lifecycle management (retrofit, repowering, decommissioning), and reliability engineering
- Background in global or multi-market asset management, with commercial awareness linking technical decisions to asset value
- Structured and analytical
- systematic approach to complex technical problems
- Skilled at developing governance frameworks and communicating technical depth clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative and cross-functional
- you bring people with you across disciplines and geographies
- Results-focused and open to using AI and digital tools to improve how we analyse, standardise, and scale PV operations Please note that this role requires that you can obtain a security clearance. Renewable energy is our future. And so are our people At Eurowind Energy we do our best to create a culture where everyone is valued and feels at home. You will notice this in your everyday work life, where you have the freedom to speak up and where your voice means something to us. We know that when you grow, we grow. Therefore, we strive to support you in what you believe is right and in your personal and professional development.
We offer
you an exciting job in an energetic and international environment. And we promise you: the wind is never standing still. Developing, operating and managing wind and solar parks is not just pure business for us. It is a way to view the world. And with this worldview comes a genuine ambition to be one of the leading developers in Europe. Because creating a future run entirely on green energy matters to us. We manage our own portfolio of projects and at the same time, we perform technical and financial management of projects. We have throughout many years experienced sustained economic growth in the number of developed projects and companies in management. And we continue to expect this. Simply because it is in our nature to keep developing
