Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures in Kolding to understand their architectural significance and current condition. Develop preservation plans for these buildings, considering factors such as material deterioration, weathering, and structural stability. Collaborate with other architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to implement preservation plans. Conduct regular inspections of preserved buildings to monitor their condition and address any issues that may arise. Provide expert advice on restoration projects to ensure they are carried out in accordance with historical preservation guidelines. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements, techniques, and regulations related to historical preservation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect. Thorough understanding of architectural design principles and materials used in historical construction. Knowledge of restoration techniques for various types of materials (e.g. wood, stone, concrete). Experience working with local authorities and adhering to historical preservation regulations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders. Working
Conditions:
This is a full-time position located in the beautiful city of Kolding. The salary for this role is 1300$, without accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own visa eligibility to work in Denmark.
