Kementec is a successful and financially strong Danish company – and one of Europe’s leading manufactures of ELISA substrates and buffers for immunoassays. The company delivers ELISA, immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry components to biotech, pharmaceutical and immunoassay manufacturers and research laboratories in more than 30 countries worldwide. Components are produced in batch sizes from 10 to 1500 liters. Kementec excels at offering customers an optimum mix of services, which are unique within its field. They have developed a green profile with their "ECO-TEK" product line, that offers the highest level of sustainability for manufacturing immunoassays.

The role

In order to meet their customers' current and increasing future needs for Kementec's products, they wish to expand the Commercial team with a new International Account Manager. The team consists of 4 competent colleagues divided between Sales, Customer Service and Marketing.

The new International Account Manager will work closely together with the rest of the team and will primarily be responsible for sales, maintaining and developing strong sustainable relationships with existing customers in the Asiatic, South American and Middle East region and part of Europe. In overview your main tasks will be:

- Plan, prepare and drive meetings at customer site and/or online for sales presentations, training and sample follow-up.
- Provide technical assistance with customers and follow up on test results and discuss solutions
- Cooperate with Kementec’s R&D regarding in house studies and to provide customers with technical know how
- Prepare quotes, forecasts, and budgets in order to meet sales plans and follow up on these
- Collaborate closely with Customer Support in order to support customer requirements and production schedules
- Participate in congresses and conferences worldwide (USA, Dubai, Germany)

You

You hold a scientific degree within e.g. (Bio)medical Laboratory Technology, Biochemistry, Biology or Biotechnology combined with ca. 3 years’ experience from a BTB sales or another customer-oriented role within Life Science. International experience is an advantage, but not a must.

To be successful in this job you have built up some knowledge of ELISA and/or other immunoassays.

You are extrovert and curious to learn and can be humble if appropriate as well. You possess strong communication skills and enjoy reaching and dealing with customers. You are able to ask them the right questions in order to understand their challenges within the technical field. As you will work with the Asian marked it will be a benefit to have some knowledge of their culture. You thrive working in a small team and you are known as a sociable, cooperative person, with a nice sense of humor. Finally, you master Danish and English fluently both orally and written. You may expect around 30 days travelling abroad yearly.
