Your position
In your new position as Senior Planner in the Transitional Energies division, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of key projects. As part of a dedicated team focused on shaping the energy transition, your work will directly contribute to creating a sustainable future. You will also serve as an active sparring partner for project managers, ensuring alignment and execution excellence.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – where the views don't get any better. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel approximately 10-15 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Planner, you will take on significant responsibility in project scheduling and resource management, working closely with project managers and stakeholders.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

- Building comprehensive project schedules, including milestones and timelines, using critical path methodology.
- Ensuring clear responsibility and ownership of project outcomes via Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Ensuring schedules align with project execution plans and control strategies, with periodic updates.
- Facilitating schedule discussions with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Challenging and suggesting alternative execution sequences to optimize project timelines.
- Supporting resource forecasting and ensuring allocation aligns with project changes.

Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a proactive and organized Senior Planner who is passionate about project planning and execution within the energy industry. You have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions in the energy transition.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

- Work experience in project planning and time management.
- A technical education relevant to the energy industry.
- Extensive experience with project planning tools such as Primavera or equivalent.
- A solid understanding of project management processes.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
