The position

As a Metrology Specialist in DCM Device Metrology and QC, you will oversee measuring equipment, test methods, and data integrity while serving as a Core TIMS Expert (CoE) and contributing to the TIMS System Group. You will lead larger measuring equipment projects, ensure compliance with GxP and ISO standards, and act as an expert in the validation and qualification of measuring equipment. Additionally, you will drive cLEAN activities and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging your knowledge of ISO guidelines and GMP regulations to ensure the highest quality in work processes.

Responsibilities will include:

- Develop and implement computerized measuring equipment with integrated robots and digitalization.
- Manage validation in both the context of operational activities and in documentation including the use of electronic validations system ex. TIMS.
- Manage small and large measuring equipment projects.
- Be an expert in relevant ISO guidelines and GMP rules on measuring equipment.
- Contribute with metrology expert knowledge sharing across internal and external metrology network.

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following qualifications:

- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar technical background.
- At least 5 years of experience in metrology within a GMP-controlled environment, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in ISO standards.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively where you easily explain complex issues to high-level project and line management stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of SAP-QM data structures, GPS (Geometric Product Specification), qualification of measurement equipment, validation of test methods, and familiarity with data trending, statistical methods, and AI applications.
- Fluency in both Danish and English, written and spoken, to effectively collaborate and communicate in a global environment.

About the department

The department DCM Device Metrology & QC consists of 110 employees divided into 7 teams. In our team we are specialize in ensuring reliable and automated measurement processes to ensure right quality of our plastic components. We are supporting both in our internal production and for our suppliers around the world. Our plastic components are used for various types of medicines, and it is crucial for us that our company always meets the defined requirements so that our patients can safely use our products. The position is based in Hillerød, Denmark, with occasional travel to DCM suppliers and/or partners and/or conferences in Europe, America, and China.
