About the job
Infectious Disease Alliance is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented
Trainee Accountant
to help us maintain transparent, organized, and accurate financial records as we continue to grow our impact
Responsibilities
Bookkeep all expenses, payments, and incoming funds.
Ensure proper documentation and financial tracking of all transactions.
Maintain clear financial structure and organization using Dinero (our accounting platform).
Monitor currency exchanges and understand how changes in rates affect project budgets.
Support budget planning, reporting, and basic financial analysis.
Collaborate with the team to ensure financial compliance and accountability.
Requirements
Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration
Good understanding of currency conversion and international payments.
Familiarity with digital accounting platforms (experience with Dinero is a plus).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive and trustworthy approach to financial management.
Graduated or current bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
