Would you like to build strong and equitable partnerships with Oxfam country offices and partners around the world – and thereby contribute to a fairer world? Then read on
Who are you?
Oxfam Denmark is strengthening its partnership-centred approach to international development, and we are looking for a Partnership Manager who combines strong relationship skills with solid experience in grant management. We imagine that you have worked with international development and/or humanitarian programmes in an NGO or a similar organisation, and that you have experience within gender aspects of international programmes. In addition, we are looking for someone who:
has experience managing grants and projects through their full lifecycle, including donor relations and reporting
builds trusting partnership relations and is comfortable representing an organisation in international forums
sees influencing as an integral part of good programming
is committed to feminist, rights-based, and decolonial principles as embedded in Oxfam Denmark's Local Leadership Strategy
has a relevant academic degree and speaks and writes fluent English and preferably French
Who are we, and what will you be doing?
Oxfam is one of the world’s largest development and humanitarian organisations, and our analyses and messages are heard by global leaders and in the Danish debate. Together with Oxfam country offices, regional platforms and partner organisations, we work to fight poverty and inequality – and we believe that strong, equitable partnerships are key to lasting change.
You will join the Business Development and Partnerships team in our International Programme Department as one of several Partnership Managers, each carrying a country/regional portfolio together with a thematic focal point role. Your tasks will include:
managing a portfolio of country and/or regional partner relationships and representing Oxfam Denmark in relevant Oxfam International forums, e.g. the Country Strategy Forum
overseeing the full lifecycle of assigned grants and projects and supporting donor relations, ensuring timely and high-quality reporting
ensuring that influencing strategies are integral to project and partnership design
acting as focal point for the gender area and bringing your expertise into play across the entire portfolio
