If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Document Controller in our newly department in API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Business Support Infrastructure Project Office in Kalundborg.

The Position
You will become part of the team focusing on document management and controlling for several infrastructure projects in Kalundborg, and will report directly to the project director. This position allows you to challenge yourself and join the team during the start-up phase of a department.
As a Senior Document Controller, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by defining the document management plan and governance, ensuring a successful document control process in a wide range of different infrastructure projects such as office buildings, QC-Labs, bridges, pipelines, etc.

Your key tasks will include:

  1. Setting up document management process in the department based upon Novo Nordisk standards.
  2. Preparing a document management strategy and plan, executing, and coordinating document management deliverables.
  3. Establishing and implementing a streamlined process for managing the List of Document register and the document lifecycle throughout the project.
  4. Securing an effective execution of the document control process, including ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk Quality Management System and standard operating procedures and standards for project documentation in various IT systems.
  5. Following up on document deliverables and progress report to ensure timely submission.
  6. Training users in the document control process and system, and providing ad hoc support.
  7. Follow-up on consultants and contractors BIM models.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  1. Educational background within Library and Records & Information Management or an Engineering academic background.
  2. +5 years of proven work experience in a similar role, involving document control process.
  3. Have created a document management plan and governance from the beginning of a project.
  4. Experience working in projects within Life Science or other regulated industry is an advantage.
  5. Working knowledge of any Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), such as Dalux, EIDA, Aconex, SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and/or Veeva Vault.
  6. Fluent spoken and written English is a must.

On a personal level, you thrive on truly understanding the project and business and have a focus on ensuring compliance, good procedures and interpersonal relations for document management. You are structured and detail-oriented with the ability to follow procedures and ensure quality control of documents and thus act as an ambassador for good documentation practices. Moreover, you possess excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate complex matters with simplicity.

If you are highly collaborative and have experience working independently and closely with a broad variety of stakeholders, you are a good fit for this position. Through your collaborative work approach, you set direction and support various internal and external stakeholders to ensure a compliant, efficient, and transparent document controls process.

About the Department
The Document Controller position is part of the API BS Infrastructure Project Office a new department in API Business Support. Our department is responsible for designing, planning, and building several different projects at Site Kalundborg.

We are currently focusing on building up the department and want to ensure a good and transparent process for all of our different stakeholders and management. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with senior colleagues and stakeholders and being part of setting up a new department and our processes.
