Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Accurate BOMs: Create and manage accurate industrial BOMs for contract manufacturers, ensuring alignment with technical specifications.
  • Control and Document Management: Establish effective processes for BOM control, versioning, and documentation.
  • Support Engineering Change Management: Assist in creating ECOs, updating BOMs and technical specifications based on approved ECRs, and engineering change communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure Master Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate planning master data and BOMs in the PLM system.
  • Generate Reports and Perform Analysis: Provide regular Key Performance Indicators reporting, perform root cause analysis, and present operational performance metrics.
  • Enhance Planning Efficiency: Find opportunities for improvement and implement initiatives to optimize planning effectiveness.
  • Manage Component Orders and Coordination: Process orders and confirmations for key incoming components, coordinate with component suppliers, EMS factories, and related parties to fulfill orders.
  • Perform Other Assigned Tasks: Undertake any additional tasks or assignments as required.

Supply Planning and Logistic Department (SP&L) in the Procurement Engineering and Electronics Manufacturing (PEM) organization focuses on supply planning, managing inventory and delivery of the externally produced product for The LEGO Group.

PEM team sources, develops, and delivers a diversified portfolio of parts through a global third-party manufacturing network. SP&L focuses on supply planning, managing inventory, and delivery of products.

Supply Chain Coordinator facilitates efficient and streamlined supply chain operations by supervising the creation and maintenance of accurate BOMs, implementing effective control and documentation management, providing support for engineering change orders, ensuring master data accuracy, generating insightful reports and conducting analysis, optimizing planning efficiency, coordinating component orders, and fulfilling assigned tasks to enhance overall supply chain performance.

Do you have what it takes

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably with Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in developing reports/dashboards and performing analytics using BI tools including but not limited to MS Power Platform (e.g. Power BI), SAP Business Warehouse, Database management tools.
  • Strong understanding of PLM systems (e.g. SAP, Teamcenter) - Material Master and BOM structure, setting, and management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in supply chain management and external manufacturing environment – e.g. Purchasing, Capacity planning, Inventory control, Logistics.
  • Strong in teamwork, communication, and working with external collaborators and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
