Content and Social Media Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Content and Social Media Manager to join our team. As our new team member, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies across various digital platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and email campaigns.

This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends to engage our audience, increase brand awareness, and drive customer engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Content Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the GAN's brand, voice, and objectives.
    • Create and manage an editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across all platforms.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Oversee and manage GAN's social media profiles and presence on platforms such as LinkedIn.
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) to drive engagement and conversion.
    • Monitor and respond to social media interactions in a timely manner, maintaining the brand's voice and fostering community engagement.
    • Develop and execute social media campaigns, including planning, creative development, scheduling, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Content Creation:
    • Write and edit high-quality content for blogs, websites, newsletters, and social media.
    • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and other content creators to produce visually appealing content.
    • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO to improve visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key performance metrics across all content and social media platforms.
    • Prepare monthly reports on social media and content performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Stay current with the latest trends and best content and social media marketing practices.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure content aligns with overall business goals.
    • Coordinate with external partners, influencers, and other stakeholders to amplify content reach and effectiveness.
    • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms and creating compelling content that drives engagement.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
