As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Neurons, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our advanced web platform. Your expertise in React and React-Query will be vital for enhancing app performance and user experience, while your proficiency in Django and Python will support robust backend development.

This position immerses you in the full product lifecycle—from concept to deployment—allowing you to engage with cutting-edge AI technologies and solve complex coding challenges. Join us to push technological boundaries and advance your career in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
Technical Expertise

  • Take ownership of the web platform's frontend codebase and libraries. Define and implement new features with an emphasis on testability, scalability, and performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable code that sets the standard for our product. Develop reusable components that streamline our application development.
  • Foster strong collaboration within a cross-functional team that includes design, engineering, and product management. Ensure seamless integration and alignment with company objectives.
  • Work closely with other engineers, such as core services and AI, to deliver features that require intricate coordination.
  • Design and refine the frontend architecture to ensure scalability and high performance. Document key architectural decisions and participate actively in our decision-making processes, including Architectural Decision Records (ADRs) and Request for Comments (RFCs).

Collaboration with Product teams

  • Work closely with our product manager and product designer, leveraging your technical expertise to influence and shape the future direction of our web platform.
  • Define technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions for React-based components, ensuring our product meets the highest standards of functionality and user experience.
  • Act as a pragmatic engineer by providing well-considered recommendations. Balance the ideal against the feasible by taking into account all technical and product constraints, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
What you will need:

To be successful in this role, we think you would need:

  • 5+ years of professional software development, with a strong focus on web application development and architecture . Demonstrated experience in leading high-impact customer-facing projects as an architect or technical lead.
  • Expertise in ReactJS and TypeScript , with a deep understanding of modern web application design, including API design patterns, performance optimization, and scalability.
  • Strong proficiency in backend programming languages, preferably Python , and familiarity with frameworks such as Django , FastAPI , Ruby on Rails , etc.
  • Experience in deploying, maintaining, and monitoring containerized services in a production environment. Proficient in writing unit , component , and UI tests .
  • A proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly with product management, design, and quality assurance.
  • Experience with agile or similar methodologies within a product engineering team, emphasizing iterative development and collaborative processes.
