Spirii develops and provides world class platform as a service (PaaS), charge point products and digital solutions to infrastructure partners and end-users. You will become part of our strong and hand-picked Spirii team.


As a Senior R&D Engineer in our FutureTech team, you will be scouting and innovating tomorrow’s needed solutions and work in a truly international environment. You will be developing and commercializing cutting-edge R&D solutions that influences customer experiences and society values in a positive way. The job will engage you with collaborations across departments such as Sales, Development, Operations, Marketing and Finance.

You will report directly to our CIO.


What You Will Do

  • Participate in commercialization of Vehicle-to-grid and Battery-to-grid implementation in Spirii and lead the R&D effort.
  • Lead the innovation content of ongoing European wide projects with external partners and take responsibility leading work-packages.
  • Take part in project scoping and development of innovation projects together with the rest of the team.
  • Engage in the innovation content across the organization for commercialization of valuable services/functions/ideas incl. the necessary PoC tests.
  • Contribute to partner meetings on concept and commercial operation of advanced services (energy management, demand-response, etc.).
  • Support sales projects with advanced needs and efforts scaling commercial efforts in various countries.
  • Participate in conferences and exhibitions sharing knowledge on Spirii’s capabilities and capturing new emerging ideas to benefit the charge point operators and end-users.
  • Mediate via webinars/podcasts, white papers, presentations etc.
  • Be comfortable to present/discuss advanced services of relevance today and in the future across the Spirii organization, both at meetings, townhall meetings and company learning sessions.

Who You Are

  • Experienced in:
    • Research & development work and working environment.
    • The e-Mobility industry, including charging infrastructure and EV batteries/stationary batteries is a plus.
    • The energy markets and energy management incl. demand-response services are a plus.
    • Pitching ideas and demonstrating solutions for a larger audience in English.
  • Can master parallel activities with dynamic changes to planned scope.
  • Adaptable to new challenges and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
  • Be curious about commercial, technical possibilities and interested in sharing gained experiences inside and outside of Spirii.
  • Motivated by working in an international environment.

Qualifications

  • Possess a PhD background with deep experience in R&D projects.
  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in Danish.
  • Other European languages (e.g., Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese) is a plus.
