Chief Commercial Officer

As LEMAN looks to the future, we're searching for a strategic (and hands-on) leader to take the reins of our commercial functions and drive profitable growth globally. Your mission? Make our commercial strategy real – not just on paper. You'll empower commercial leaders across markets to find and win new opportunities (not just grow existing ones), while keeping our people-first mindset at the heart of everything we do.

What's Your Impact?

• Turn strategy into action: Align sales, marketing, and communication teams around a shared direction. Work with local Commercial Directors and Group MarCom to ensure plans aren't just written, but actually rolled out.
• Grow revenue (not just reports): Develop and drive a clear plan for commercial growth that's tied to results – with a strong focus on pipeline, profitability, and performance.
• Bring the brand to life: Use marketing, communication and sustainability efforts to create awareness, build leads, and position LEMAN as a bold logistics challenger.
• Use data to steer, not just to stare: Build a framework where numbers drive decisions – from sales funnel health to performance tracking.

What We're Looking For?
We need someone who knows their way around the logistics and freight forwarding industry – and knows how to lead commercial teams in a way that's practical, collaborative, and data-driven. You'll be part of the Executive Management Team and report directly to the CEO, with dotted-line leadership of Commercial Directors across markets.

• You've led commercial functions before, ideally in a global logistics business.
• You don't mind rolling up your sleeves. We're a hands-on kind of company – even at the top.
• You're confident making decisions based on numbers – and just as comfortable talking to customers as you are with CEOs.
• You know that trust, teamwork, and accountability matter just as much as strategy decks.

Why This Role Might Not Be for You?
We'll be upfront – this role isn't about polishing the brand and calling it a day. Your core focus will be on tightening our sales engine, setting the right revenue priorities, and using data to steer us in the right direction. Market conditions shift, and you'll need to shift with them. If you enjoy branding and communication – great. But if your sweet spot is more creative campaigns than commercial strategy, this might not be your role.

Location: Your primary location will be our headquarters in Greve, Denmark (but we are not ruling out candidates from other nationalities if you are open to relocate)
