ABOUT THE JOB
As a Senior Frontend Engineer with React at IMPACT, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and highly functional web applications using React and Next.js. You will collaborate with various teams to translate business requirements into user-friendly, responsive web interfaces. Your work will play a crucial role in our e-commerce projects, helping to deliver seamless and engaging experiences for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with extensive experience in React and Next.js, a keen eye for design, and a passion for creating seamless and engaging user experiences. We are looking to hire both Midlevel and Senior candidates.

Your primary focus areas will be:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to create a cohesive user experience.
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Implement and uphold best practices in front-end development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
  • Stay current with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and share knowledge with the team.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven experience as a Senior Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
  • Proficiency in React and Next.js, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Familiarity with headless CMS and composable architecture.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
