The Position
As a Senior IT integration architect in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Global Integrations, you will drive the continuous optimization of Confluent Cloud Kafka as a central platform and establish enterprise grade services, empowering best-in-class event-driven integrations across the organization. Leveraging your expertise in event-driven technologies, DevOps practices and IPaaS, you will work hands-on with technical deliverables, collaborate closely with stakeholders across multiple business areas and drive business innovation and streamlined operations. You will engage with implementation teams across Novo Nordisk business areas, supporting some of the most important projects and drive adoption of event-driven integrations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the architecture for our Confluent Cloud Kafka platform and ensure best-in-class services in collaboration with the central agile team
    • Continuously optimize the platform solution and services by designing and implementing new key platform features, governance, best practices and keep the platform at the technological forefront
      • Drive enterprise-wide adoption of the foundational integration services and best practices
        • Guide on strategic integrations within a large organizational landscape
          • Work closely with distributed teams across Novo Nordisk to ensure that the platform aligns with business goals and resolve any impediments along the way
            • Stay updated on industry trends, security, and best practices related to event-driven integrations and integrate them into our solutions

Qualifications
To be a strong candidate for this position, we envision that you will possess many to most of the following:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • +5 years of professional experience working within the field of integrations
      • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex event-driven integrations including hands-on experience in delivering a central integration platform solution and services to distributed teams within a large organization
        • Strong understanding of software development, cloud computing platforms, DevOps practices and security standards within a regulated enterprise
          • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

About the Department
As our new Senior IT Integration Architect, you will join the Digital, Data & IT Global Integrations team, consisting of highly motivated integration architects, DevOps engineers as well as internal and external developers forming a global, high-performing unit. Together, we share knowledge and collaborate effectively in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions, driving change and creating business value. You will be part of a foundational cross-organizational unit that manages the strategic integration platforms in Novo Nordisk and drives the global integration strategy. Embracing agile practices, you will work within your own agile project team as well as engage with different global project teams in Novo Nordisk.
