Senior Digital Architect, Information Security (AI/ML)

Primary Responsibilities

We are in search of a highly skilled Security Architect with a specialized focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), ensuring security is integral to every business or IT-driven initiative. You will identify and mitigate security risks associated with AI and ML initiatives, embedding security principles into all projects and products from the outset. Your role involves developing robust security frameworks and strategies for advanced AI and ML systems, advocating for and implementing security measures integrated into project lifecycles to safeguard systems against evolving threats. The position requires a blend of AI knowledge, cloud security concepts, cybersecurity expertise, and understanding of security challenges posed by AI/ML technologies. Collaboration with teams to promote a culture of security-first thinking is crucial.

Responsibilities

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of AI and ML systems and associated initiatives, identifying vulnerabilities and crafting mitigation strategies.

AI/ML Security Strategy: Develop and implement security strategies for AI and ML projects.

Security Framework Development: Create security frameworks for AI and ML development and deployment.

Incident Response for AI Systems: Partner with Security Operations to develop incident response protocols for AI/ML security incidents.

Research and Innovation: Stay updated on AI/ML security trends and threats, integrating new solutions into security infrastructure.

Collaboration and Leadership: Work with IT and AI/ML teams to integrate security into development lifecycles.

Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and training on AI/ML security best practices.

Compliance and Standards Consistency: Ensure AI/ML initiatives comply with data protection and privacy regulations.

Requirements Education

Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, AI/ML, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience
  • 8+ years in information security and IT risk management
  • 5+ years in network, application, or infrastructure security
  • 5+ years in AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud security
  • Experience in Pharma/Biotech industry
  • Deep knowledge in securing AI/ML models
  • Familiarity with data protection laws
  • Relevant certifications advantageous
  • Experience in multinational organizations
  • Experience influencing collaborators
Knowledge/Skills
  • Evaluate and address security vulnerabilities in IT systems
  • Design secure architectures for model development
  • Integrate security into AI/ML lifecycle
