Research Field: Microbiology. Published experience with Gram-negative bacteria is required. Experience with cloning, DNA/RNA extraction, 16S microbiome analysis, quorum sensing, crystal violet staining, RNA-seq, qRT-PCR, western blotting, fluorescence- and electron microscopy, and fluorescence reporter assays is required. The candidate must be fluent in R, including performing differential expression analysis, read mapping, genome analysis, alignments, phylogeny, and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. Excellent written and spoken English is required.
Responsibilities: The postdoc’s duties will include research within Microbiology as well as teaching and co-supervision of students.
Position Details: The position is for two years and is open from May 15th, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff. Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
