We are searching for an HR Consultant – Legal & Compensation Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with employment laws across multiple EU countries, supporting employees in understanding local labor regulations, and advising on compensation and benefits structures. Additionally, you will assist with setting up subsidiaries. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses strong legal and HR expertise.
Role responsibilities
- Provide guidance on local labor laws and employment regulations across multiple EU countries, working closely with our EOR providers.
- Translate complex legal and compliance information into clear, actionable insights for employees and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in setting up subsidiaries in selected countries.
- Advise on appropriate compensation and benefits packages across different countries, ensuring market competitiveness and compliance with local laws.
- Support in defining and implementing sick leave, parental leave, and other employee benefit policies across the countries we operate in.
- In collaboration with our HR Consultant, maintain and update our employee handbook and HR policies to reflect the latest legal requirements and company practices.
- Ensure GDPR compliance across all HR processes.
- Assist in employment contract preparation and handling contract amendments.
- Analyze HR processes and policies to identify areas for improvement and ensure best practices.
- Provide general HR support and guidance to employees across the organization.
Desirable skills and knowledge
- A degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong understanding of employment law, preferably across multiple EU countries.
- Experience working with Employer of Record (EOR) services or handling international employment matters.
- Knowledge or interest in compensation and benefits structures, including salary benchmarking and benefits design.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate legal concepts into clear, accessible information for employees.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and structured in approach.
- Passion for games or knowledge of the gaming industry is a plus but not required.
