Fullstack Developer

As a fullstack developer at ForeFlight, you will join one of the largest teams in the organization, the dispatch team, consisting of 15 developers. The team is responsible for building ForeFlight Dispatch, a web application used for flight planning in Commercial, Business and Military Aviation. The team both optimizes existing features as well as building brand new features.

On the tech side of the role, you will be working with .net/c# in the backend, Angular/typescript in the frontend and AWS/Terraform. Other tools include MS PostgreSQL, Visual Studio, and Git.

Typical tasks and responsibilities include:

1. Software development of web and backend applications
2. Development of utilities and libraries
3. Deployment, maintenance and optimization of existing features
4. Collaboration with colleagues from the dispatch team as well as other teams across the organization

In order to succeed in this role, you must be able to recognize yourself in at least some of the following:

1. Educational background within the software field, e.g software engineering, computer science, information technology or web development
2. Experience with software development, preferably in either c#/.net, angular/TS or both
3. Experience with deployment and maintenance
4. Keen eye for quality and a willingness to ensure adequate software testing
5. Used to cooperating with others and see the value in sparring and information sharing
