Their scope of supply includes mixing, membrane filtration, fermentation, extraction, spray drying, freeze-drying, and powder handling solutions for the dairy, food ingredients, pharma, chemical, and beverage industries.

Head of Procurement & Supply Chain

Leadership and strategy
As the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain you will lead a diverse team across project Procurement, Operational Procurement, Warehouse, and Planning & Logistics. Your team comprises 42 employees, including 5 direct reports with managerial responsibility. You will ensure seamless coordination of project requirements, maintaining cost efficiency, achieving on-time delivery, and upholding quality standards.

Your role includes:

1. Leadership & strategy: Drive the procurement & supply chain strategy and performance within the Business Unit (BU), ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
2. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Finance, and Sales to optimize end-to-end processes.
3. Compliance & reporting: Uphold procurement policies, deliver regular reports to senior management, and contribute to Project Steering Committees.
4. Process optimization: Continuously improve procurement processes, define new standards, and mitigate risks.

Exceptional management and communication skills

As a person you are a skilled leader and a strong communicator, capable of assembling and guiding high-performing teams. You possess an ability to overview and understand project risks while identifying opportunities for cost reduction and savings realization. You have great collaboration skills and excel in creating strong relationships in a complex stakeholder landscape.

You hold a master's degree or equivalent in supply chain, procurement, mechanical engineering or export engineering.

You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement and at least 3-5 years of management experience. You have a background in project organizations and experience in the global supplier market and project procurement. Familiarity with the SAP suite is beneficial. You are adept at navigating complex matrix organization, demonstrating strong technical expertise and professional pride, and you are skilled at handling numerous stakeholder requests from both the business and Group functions.
