Join our Compensation & Master Data Team in Lyngby
We are seeking a Payroll & Finance Specialist who is focused on enhancing financial data integrity, refining reporting systems, and promoting process efficiency. This role is based at the company's global headquarters in Lyngby, serving as the hub for its international activities. Here you will be part of the Compensation & Master Data team, which provides specialized services within payroll and employee master data to the entire group. You will also collaborate with teams across the Nordic region, Lithuania, and other international locations.

In this position, you will join a team of specialists working with payroll, master data, and finance process optimization. The team prioritizes knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning, elevating complex financial processes to the next level. You will gain valuable experience in financial systems management and process enhancement, equipping you with the ability to implement scalable, efficient solutions.
One of the team's most recent projects included optimizing parental leave, training funds, where an innovative solution in ServiceNow improved both data management and compliance. The result? Efficient workflows and increased user satisfaction.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Running the payroll process and enhancing payroll and financial reporting frameworks by developing and refining structured processes.
- Creating an overview of complex financial processes and implementing robust technological solutions such as SAP, Excel, and ServiceNow.
- Documenting, testing, and implementing new IT solutions to improve finance operations.
- Conducting audits and quality assurance (QA) assessments to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Analyzing and interpreting financial data, identifying trends that support informed decision-making.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and Finance to implement process improvements.

To thrive in this position, we believe that you have good analytical skills, a structured work approach, and can develop practical solutions.
Furthermore, you should have:
- A master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline with 0-3 years of experience in a financial or data analysis role with a strong process-improvement focus.
- Knack for numbers.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI is beneficial.
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- A detail-oriented and creative approach, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language.
