Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Solution Architect specializing in Azure Digital Application & Innovation to drive high-priority customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform. This role focuses on application development, containers, DevOps, microservices, cloud-native solutions, serverless architectures, low-code platforms, and AI applications. As a customer-facing role, you will own the overall technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of Azure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Onsite/Remote delivery : Deliver technical solutions both onsite and remotely, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of Azure services. Adapt delivery methods to meet customer needs and project requirements.
- Technical Leadership : Lead architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects, and build MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) for application development, containers, DevOps, microservices, cloud-native solutions, serverless architectures, low-code platforms, and AI.
- Customer Engagement : Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision-makers and senior executives to drive long-term cloud adoption and advocate for Azure solutions.
- Solution Design : Architect solutions that meet business and IT needs, ensuring high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability. Create roadmaps for application development and cloud-native solutions.
- Technical Support : Provide technical support for both pre-sales and post-sales activities, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Ensure solutions adhere to the Well-Architected Framework.
- Innovation and Optimization : Drive innovation by infusing key technologies such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Platform, and AI services (e.g., Azure ML, Cognitive Services).
- Customer Advocacy : Act as the Voice of the Customer, sharing insights and best practices with the Engineering team to remove key blockers and improve the Azure platform.
- Knowledge Sharing : Maintain technical skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with market trends and competitive insights. Collaborate and share expertise with the technical community and educate customers on Azure capabilities.
- Evangelism : Be an Azure Platform evangelist, promoting Azure solutions to customers, partners, and external communities.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing IT project delivery .
- 7+ years of experience in software development/support.
- Deep understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Native solutions, Database and Security.
- Familiarity with at least one development language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript, vue).
- Problem Solving. Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies required
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, software development/support, Database management or artificial intelligence.
- 6+ years of experience in customer-facing IT project delivery.
- 6+ years of experience leading technical projects.
- Proficiency in multiple development languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript, vue).
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, security certifications).
Tech Skill Key Words (Optional, The more familiar entries, the better.)
Essential Skills:
- Application Development : Proficiency in modern application development practices and frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Containers : Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- DevOps : Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
- Microservices : Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Cloud Native : Familiarity with cloud-native development practices and tools.
- Serverless : Experience with serverless computing platforms such as Azure Functions and AWS Lambda.
- Low Code : Knowledge of low-code development platforms like Microsoft PowerApps.
Preferred Skills:
- AI : Proficiency in AI technologies and frameworks, including machine learning, natural language processing, and large language model.
