Sales Engineer – Be the Customer’s trusted Advisor

For our client, Gemü , Bloom recruitment is seeking a passionate and competent Sales Engineer to strengthen their position in the Danish market. As part of the team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through technical consulting.
Your responsibilities as a Sales Engineer:
- Technical consulting : Conduct detailed technical analyses of customer processes and challenges. Develop tailored solutions based on Gemü’s comprehensive product portfolio.
- Business development : Expand their business within the energy and water treatment sectors by identifying and delivering tailored solutions to new and existing customers. As well as proactively plan and execute sales activities.
- Customer relationships : Build and nurture long-term customer relationships through regular contact, technical consulting and follow-up.
- Technical support : Support the customers with technical expertise throughout the sales process in very close corporation with internal technical sales team in Ballerup and the colleagues at the German headquarters.
To be successful in this role, i t ´s important that you are :
- Technically strong – You have a relevant technical education (e.g., mechanical, chemical or process engineering or related field) and min. 4 years experience from a similar technical sales role. (Pre-sales or Sales Engineer)
- Customer-oriented – You have a passion for helping customers find the best solutions and build trust through your expertise.
- Results-and team oriented – You are goal-oriented and have a strong drive to succeed as a team.
- Communicative – You are a skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing, and can present technical topics in an understandable way.
- Independent – You thrive on working independently, but also collaborate well in a team.
- Analytical and problem-solving.
- Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
You’ll be based in Gemü’s modern Ballerup office, collaborating closely with the technical sales team and Sales Manager. If you live in other parts of the country, a home office with regular visits to Ballerup is also an option.
You will refer directly to the Sales Manager for the Danish Market and have plenty of great sparring possibilities. In the Ballerup office they are a team of approximately 10 colleagues and the work environment is casual and flexible with a strong team spirit.
