Production Technology Engineer, Production Technology Standards & Sustainability

We’re looking for you if you bring experience with Production Technology Standards & Processes with a proven ability to implement improvements in close collaboration with a variety of stakeholders across the organization. Your challenges:
In this role you will join the Technology Support department, part of Supply Technology in the Supply Engineering & Product Introduction organization in the VELUX Group.
You will be leading our Production Technology Standards & Sustainability (PTS&S) area within Technology Support. Some of your core responsibilities include ensuring our production technology standards & processes are continuously revised, improved, and updated, and that new technology projects are designed in compliance with our standards.

These will be your key focus areas:
- Production Technology Standards: Develop, maintain, and enforce production technology standards, CoE standards, and technology purchase standards.
- Sustainability: Develop, maintain, and enforce Design 4 Zero standards & processes, ensuring all new technology is designed to be as energy & CO2 efficient as possible.
- You will be a key player in the organization, acting as a binding link between the business functions and areas in Operations & Supply responsible for ensuring everything rolled out across VELUX is anchored in our technology standards.
It's all about the team effort; we’re in this together. Your tasks in this role will focus on:
- Design, implement and maintain a transparent management system for the Technology Centre & Centres of Excellence standards.
- Developing, maintaining, supporting, and assessing Production Technology Standards & Processes and the CAPEX Investment Model in cooperation with key stakeholders across the VELUX organization.
- Identifying, planning, and realizing continuous improvements to existing standards and processes in cooperation with your colleagues across the Operations & Supply organization.
- Leading the Design 4 Zero Program, an important step in our sustainability journey, enhancing energy & CO2 efficient design of future technology.
Your qualifications:
We expect that you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or marine engineering or another relevant technical engineering background with a good insight into energy and technical standards and processes. You will likely have 5 years of experience or more in a similar role. It’s considered as a plus if you have insight into/experience with ISO standards & management systems, e.g., ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.
Furthermore, you have experience in project management, stakeholder management, communication, and technology projects in an engineering area.
As a person you are:
- An excellent communicator with a good grasp of stakeholder management.
- A great facilitator who can find solutions through dialogue and collaboration with stakeholders from various countries and cultures.
- A team player who thrives in a technical engineering environment where humor, mutual respect, collaboration and commitment are embedded in our culture and ways of working.
- A structured person with a systematic approach to tasks who can maintain the overview in all situations.
Proficiency in English is a requirement; proficiency in Danish is considered a plus but not a requirement for this role.
