Department Overview
The extensive Motorola Solutions DIMETRA TETRA Infrastructure portfolio provides secure and resilient solutions which are deployed across a wide range of market segments including government, public safety (Police, Fire, Ambulance), transportation (Transit, Metro, Rail & Airport), energy and enterprise markets, scaling from the smallest single site solution to nationwide networks covering whole countries. The TETRA Infrastructure Customer Solutions and Product Management team is the focal point for the worldwide Go to Market teams for front-end customer and sales support for all of the DIMETRA systems business. The team is also responsible for definition and execution of all DIMETRA system releases. You will be part of an innovative and international environment in one of the leading companies within critical communications.

Job Description
As a product manager you will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of our product portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and marketing professionals, to provide DIMETRA Infrastructure products and releases for a worldwide market. Your role will involve gathering customer insights, conducting market research, defining product strategies, and driving product development from conception to launch.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

  1. Capturing customer requirements for DIMETRA X-Core, Express, Base Station and Console Products
  2. Roadmap planning and compelling communication of the roadmap
  3. Excellent presentation skills
  4. Define and prioritize feature/project requests
  5. Develop and communicate product cancellation plans minimizing scrap cost/inventory
  6. Develop and participate in market research and industry trade shows
  7. Business management of the product i.e. volume shipped, Average Selling Price, sales trends etc.

Basic Requirements

  1. University degree in Business or Engineering
  2. 2+ years of experience in product/business management or similar
  3. A strong technical background, with a solid understanding of hardware and software development processes.
  4. Independent, proactive and focused on getting the job done
  5. Good networking skills and ability to work within a global organization
  6. Language skills is an advantage, as a minimum English written and spoken
