Junior Business Analyst

About the Role
As our Junior Business Analyst, you will contribute to developing, supporting, and maintaining the construction management processes and tools as part of Blue Power Partners' Construction department. The right candidate will play a central part in supporting the team with its construction approaches and construction management tools.

The Construction department is a Project Execution department managing onshore renewable energy projects (wind, solar and battery) within the construction phase. The department consists of a global team with team members both on project sites and in back offices. The construction management service includes project schedule, cost, quality, safety, scope, risk and document control. Most of the workstreams in the construction phase require input from the construction site team.

You will join a team consisting of both highly experienced Project Managers, Directors and Experts, and also newly graduated Assistant Project Managers and Business Analysts, creating a greatly innovative and knowledge-building space.

About the Job
You will collaborate and work closely with the construction team members and key project stakeholders across our global offices' and projects. You will both be providing ad-hoc support to project sites and colleagues on specific project-related deliverables, while also supporting the construction process optimization project by collecting best practices, developing templates and streamlining operations.

Your scope of work will include:

• Construction Tools and Templates: Locate and gather best practice documents from colleagues, project and/or industry. Create global generic templates with guides and training.
• Maintain and develop current and future tools, documents, templates and knowledge hubs.
• Support team members with specific project tasks such as reporting, trackers and presentations.
• Construction Management Process: Create streamlined and best practice processes across all global projects through theories and collaboration with team members.
• Innovation: Identify challenges and their causes, to develop solutions into new tools and templates.

You will primarily be working with Office 365, SharePoint and Power BI.

We don't expect you to know everything when you start. We will invest the time you need to fulfill the role. The learning curve will be steep, but you will experience extensive development and much responsibility and influence in your position.

We prefer that you be available to work 8-14 hours on average per week, with the possibility of adding more hours. You will have the opportunity to influence your daily routine and schedule. Additionally, we are committed to providing flexibility for our analysts during exam periods and when facing project deadlines.

This part-time position is based at our central headquarters in Aalborg, John F. Kennedys Plads 43.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor or master's degree in Project or Operations Management, Civil Engineering, or Business Studies.
• Strong interest in project management.
• Excellent communication abilities, proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical skills with a structured, project-oriented approach to work.
• Business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Highly capable of working independently while also being an effective team player.
