Staff Attorney

The Staff Attorney is responsible for delivering practical, timely and high-quality legal services for a global manufacturer of hearing devices and headsets, supporting their multiple organizations within North America.

Reporting to the Vice President & Chief Legal Officer, this role will involve assisting colleagues in the North American Legal Group and commercial businesses with a broad range of legal matters including commercial transactions, litigation, employment, real estate, corporate governance, compliance and M&A.

Highlights

• Assist with reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
• Perform legal research; summarize and communicate findings; formulate recommendations based on findings.
• Assist with a variety of corporate filings.
• Manage corporate governance materials, including minute books and contract databases.

Minimum Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree
• 3-5 years of combined experience working at a law firm and/or in-house legal department and a corporate environment.

Competencies

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters.
• Strong oral and written communication, presentation, organizational, and teamwork skills.
