Do you find satisfaction in developing people, processes and improving ways of working in a scaled agile set up? Are you a catalyst of personal growth and transformation in others? Then you should join us
Who are we and what do we do?
In Danske Bank we focus on the values and needs of our customers, shareholders, and the societies we are part of – and our vision is to be recognised as the most trusted financial partner. In order to realize this vision, we have reorganized our Development organisation into 30+ independent and empowered units called tribes.
As a Tribe Coach you will be part of the Tribe Leadership Team in one of our tribes. The size of the tribes varies between 100-200 colleagues spread across the Nordics, Lithuania and India.
Your workplace will be at the bank's new Headquarters in Central Copenhagen.
Your role
As a Tribe coach you will join the leadership team of the tribe together with the Tribe lead and IT lead. We recognize that the aspirational goals set for our tribes can only be realized through living up to agile values and principles with a focus on creating value for our customers.
You are encouraged to leverage your deep understanding of agile development and organizational transformation to enhance the tribe's effectiveness and support the realization of the collective vision.
You will report to the Tribe Coach Chapter Lead in the domain Large Corporates and Institutions and be part of the bank's Agile Centre of Excellence. You will balance seeking a scaled and unified approach to agile ways of working across the entire bank with the unique needs in your tribe. You must also expect to do hands-on work, such as annual and quarterly planning.
The Tribe Coach is the one who ensures the agile journey in the Tribe. As a skilled leadership coach, you will support the tribe's Product Owners, Chapter Leads, Tribe Lead, IT Lead and the tribe's Architect with developing their agile leadership skills. You will have the courage to call out on slipping back to old habits, by making a difference for our leaders to follow the agile ways of working. You will also orchestrate support from specialized and cross-organizational Agile Coaches to increase the agile maturity in the tribe.
Your deep understanding of system-thinking and organizational dynamics will be critical for you to choose the right angle on enabling your tribe to hold outcome over output, while influencing the rest of the organization to become truly agile.
What we imagine about you
Your holistic view on the system as a whole enables you to both optimize on aligned ways of working while at the same time enabling empowerment in your tribe and the squads in it. You have a proficient understanding of communication towards many stakeholders and teaching. It will be an advantage if you have experience in driving larger organizational changes and change behaviour.
You enjoy inspiring and motivating others, so they can perform well in their work. You thrive with user and stakeholder collaboration to ensure alignment across the organization, and getting in front of a crowd does not frighten you.
You work with many stakeholders and in a multinational environment, why it is good if you are structured and analytical by nature and have a can-do attitude.
You possess a keen awareness of the perspectives of others and can consider situations from multiple angles. Curiosity drives you and you are interested in developing with others.
Furthermore you
