dao is continuously seeking couriers for nighttime delivery in Zealand, Southern Jutland, and Eastern Jutland.

About dao

dao is a Danish-owned company that delivers packages, newspapers, letters, and magazines directly to our customers' mailboxes or to a parcel shop according to the customer's preference. At dao, time never stands still We are more than 1200 employees, spread across our 2 head offices in Vejle and Rødovre, our 4 terminals, and more than 35 distribution centers spread throughout the country, which along with our external partners ensures that the products arrive safely throughout Denmark while customers sleep. We have been doing this 365 days a year for over 100 years.

About the job

As a delivery person, you are dao's representative as you deliver the customer's products perfectly to the doorstep or mailbox. dao delivers packages, magazines, newspapers, and letters, and we deliver 365 days a year - in all kinds of weather. Your workday as a delivery person starts with packing your vehicle with the day's products for the route. Once this is done, you drive out on the route and deliver to the customers' products - thoroughness and precision are keywords here. A fast pace is also part of the job, so customers receive their products before the deadline. At dao, we deliver at night, so you must thrive on working while others sleep.

Upon starting, you will receive thorough training from an experienced courier, and you will have daily contact and sparring with our experienced operations managers. The position is between 20-32 hours spread over 6 days a week, depending on the available arrangement at the time of employment.

About you

You will have plenty of freedom and the opportunity to work independently, and at the same time, we rely on you to arrive as agreed, handle customers' products with respect, and take pride in delivering correctly and precisely every time. Communication is a prerequisite for collaboration, and our team includes employees from different nationalities, so you must be able to speak Danish or English.

In the position as a courier, you will be covered by the courier agreement between Dansk Erhverv Arbejdsgiver and 3F Fagligt Fælles Forbund.
