Power Solutions & Vestas Quality > Aerodynamic & Mechanical > Tower Structure

Tower Module is a department of Vestas responsible for the research, design, and development of the wind turbines' tower products. Through innovation, development, and continuous product improvements, we continuously develop our products and technologies to reduce costs and ensure the integration of renewable energy.

Your tasks will involve:

  1. Developing new features into models and integrating and improving scripts.
  2. Running models for benchmarking towers and load iterations.
  3. Validating the performance steps against historic data.
  4. Creating and maintaining the documentation of the models, results, and conclusions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of existing MATLAB models
  • Detailed analyses of multiple use cases
  • Creation of proposals for performance steps
  • Process and analyze large amounts of data for trends & commonalities

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in the industry
  • Intermediate skills in Python
  • Advanced proficiency in MATLAB programming
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Intermediate skills in the PowerBI backend are ideal
