The Management Trainee experience

As a Management Trainee, you'll work on five different projects across Visma companies, business areas, and countries over the course of one year. These projects are of significant strategic importance for our future success, and you'll have the opportunity to influence the direction of our business in a meaningful way. Our broad international presence also allows you to work at one or several of our locations in Europe during your trainee year. Ever dreamed about working from Oslo or Amsterdam for a few months? As a Management Trainee, that dream could be a reality

This programme is international, and you'll have great colleagues and friends from Norway, Sweden, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Through a shared introductory week in Oslo and joint gatherings at various locations in Europe during the trainee period, you'll get to know each other well.

At the end of your one year as a Management Trainee, you'll transition into a permanent position at Visma.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for individuals who will complete their master's studies in computer science, IT, economics, and/or business by August 2025 and who wish to work strategically with technology. Our Management Trainees have diverse backgrounds, skills, and personalities – what unites them is their curious mindset and their ability to act on their ideas. They also love to collaborate and have excellent communication skills in both Danish and English.

  • CV
  • Transcripts
  • Grade reports from both high school and college/university. If you don't have an official grade report with your most recent grades, you can provide a screenshot of your grades.

It's optional for you to include a cover letter, and we've included a short-answer question for you to tell us why you want to start your career as a trainee and what strengths you'll bring to the programme. This will help us better determine where you could be a great fit.

If you're selected as a potential candidate, you'll be invited for an interview at Visma House in Copenhagen which is located in Carlsberg Byen. You'll also be asked to complete an ability test and a skills test before the interview. The final interview will be partly digital and include a case interview. If we are a match, we might become colleagues
