Your role

As Virtual Data Coordinator you will be responsible for designing Eurowind’s drone strategy and doing the daily drone operation. Your main responsibilities include:

• Selection/design of industrial drone for use in: Mapping/3D Surveys, Photovoltaic Thermographic Inspections, Wind Turbine inspections, Agricultural, Marketing Pictures and Video.
• Cooperation with different departments and building reports.
• Establishing setup for automated inspection flights in parks globally.
• Being responsible for hardware and data collection via CCTV in parks globally.

The role combines your inner explorer with your fascination of data and takes a certain accuracy and immersion. More specifically, the tasks include:

• Daily drone operation and maintenance with safety and compliance.
• Surveying of land, and conversion to scalable maps.
• Ensuring that data collection is automated, repeatable and directly integrated into the GIS structure.
• PV inspections and optimization using drone’s normal and thermal pictures.
• Organizing, managing and reporting on data in a coherent manner.
• Preparation of documentation for analysis on a group level.
• Assistance in regards to agricultural drones – both aerial and on ground level.

Cooperating with data analyst regarding Machine Learning / AI on the drone/camera data.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate your tech skills and be capable of programming the drone so it will produce insightful data at every flight. We imagine that you have a technical background and can agree on the following:

• You are educated as Software Engineer, Automation Engineer, Land Surveyor, Drone Pilot/Drone Operator, Geographer, Cartographer or similar.
• You are a tech “nerd” with an unquestionable interest in technical data and automation.
• You are organized and good at adapting to the workflow.
• You are good at communicating with colleagues and stakeholders and have a proactive approach.
