Shape the Future of Material Engineering
At Subsea Productions Systems, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a variety of tasks that will challenge and hone your skills. As a Material Engineer, you will:
- Dive deep into project documentation and specifications, ensuring top-tier standards and requirements for mechanical and chemical properties are met. Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Management to keep everything on track.
- Innovate with materials and processes by selecting the best materials, designing for corrosion prevention, and specifying processes. Your insights will shape project specifications and elevate materials requirements to new heights.
- Lead the charge in implementing client and market requirements for metallurgy, polymers, and general materials across the industry.
- Spearhead the certification and qualification of materials, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
- Conduct inspections at supplier sites throughout Europe, ensuring quality and precision at every step.
Your role will span the entire project lifecycle, from kickoff to factory support in Kalundborg, and involve direct communication with customers and suppliers. You'll be instrumental in driving continuous improvement in our processes and material methodology, working closely with our Material Engineering team.

Qualifications That Set You Apart
- Preferable educational background: Master in Material Science/Material Manufacturing.
- 1-2 years of experience in Material Working Processes.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English .
- Preferable experience and qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with material manufacturing processes,
- Experience from the Oil and Gas industry and preferable knowledge of API17J standard,
- Experience with materials and EN specifications in construction.
- A structured, quality-conscious approach to work.
- A team player mindset, ready to collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and project managers to bring your end-fitting designs to life.
