Our Model Production Digital Team is on a mission to empower Model Production, which is responsible for creating the BIG LEGO builds and more. We support them in delivering outstanding shopper experiences by providing up-to-date technology, supporting and optimizing existing processes, simplifying workflows, and improving the tools they rely on.

Core responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the development, operation, and maintenance of scalable solutions for Model Production site.
  2. Support in exploring and learning emerging technologies and methods, discovering new opportunities for our platforms.
  3. Participate actively in fostering an outstanding engineering culture with a focus on good craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
  4. Apply DevSecOps principles: "You build it - you own it" (and run it) with an emphasis on secure code and security by design.
  5. Collaborate with internal partners to drive solutions and deliver value.
  6. Support the transformation journey as we move from legacy systems, such as extensive Excel sheets and SAP-based tools, to modern digital platforms.
  7. Experience in integrating analytics solutions and data tracking.

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Model Production Product team, part of the Platform Technology in Omnichannel, Manufacturing & Product Engineering organization, you will play an important role in the digital transformation of our Model Production in Copenhagen and other locations worldwide. The goal of this transformation is to implement up-to-date tools and processes, replacing outdated IT systems. This is an opportunity to help co-create the digital landscape of an entire business unit and lay the foundation for its future success, while maintaining and supporting current systems, ensuring their stability and continued functionality.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate has experience in software development, leveraging modern, scalable solutions like C#, .NET, following DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering best practices. To excel in this role, you should also have:

  1. Deep knowledge of modern technology stacks, cloud and the corresponding services and architectures, such as event-driven architectures and microservices.
  2. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, modern deployment workflows, automated testing, monitoring and logging to ensure system stability and performance.
  3. Experience integrating with off-the-shelf enterprise software solutions, including data processing systems.
  4. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and functional teams.
  5. Experience in software development within an Agile framework.
  6. A deep curiosity for continuous learning, innovation, with a strong willingness to help others grow, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
  7. A proactive approach in providing feedback and in recognizing when others do good work, as well as leading an inclusive engineering culture.
  8. Experience in integrating analytics solutions and data tracking.

It would be great if you also have:

  1. Experience with Frontend technologies like React and Node.js.
  2. Knowledge of SAP.
