Job Description

In this role you get to influence and fuel the imagination of our customers by bringing our signature LEGO Humor to life

Core Responsibilities

  • Crafting outstanding video content for showcasing functionality and fun of models for our Digital Building Experience.
  • Carry a project through various phases of production such as Story/Idea, Concept, Digital Layout, Blocking, Animation, Video Editing, and Sound Design.
  • Build gameplay animations, like cycles and emotes to support our internal Animation Libraries for various characters.
  • Along with key partners, help define the quality of LEGO standards and guides for animations of LEGO characters and models.
  • Mature and define technical aspects and workflows ensuring our animations are fit for future needs.
  • Deliver animations according to production schedules.
  • Strong communication skills and a feedback mentality, actively promoting a continuous improvement culture in our team and ways of working.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Validated industry animation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge with 3D animation tools, primarily Autodesk Maya.
  • Working Experience from games, feature films, TV series, Apps or similar.
  • Knowledge about Unreal and Unity game engines is a plus.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with humor as a high priority.
  • Knowledge to produce content from concept to final, including video editing and sound design.
  • Ability to self-organize and take on responsibility for the tasks at hand.
  • Extraordinary eye for detail.
