As the Procurement Manager for Indirect Spend in PS API, you'll play a pivotal role in planning and executing procurement activities for our largest investment projects in Kalundborg. You'll leverage your skills to drive cost optimization, process improvements, and supplier collaboration across indirect categories. The position
We have an exciting position to offer with a great variety of tasks. As a Procurement Manager, some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage the Procurement Plan for indirect spend in major investment projects in PS API
  • Coordinate procurement activities with the Purchasing and Sourcing teams.
  • Act as a focal point for project organization, providing guidance and support for Indirect Spend related matters
  • Prioritize sourcing pipeline and daily purchase requests, aligning tenders and scope with central procurement organizations and engineering partners
  • Plan and execute sourcing events, drive sourcing process and negotiations, conduct market screening of potential suppliers, maintain Sourcing Pipeline, and manage end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities

As our new Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for indirect spend transactions in the project organisation. Together with the rest of the team you will ensure to drive sourcing and purchasing processes and act as the link between the project organisation and central Procurement Organisations in Novo Nordisk.

The categories in scope are broad, and you will thus collaborate with many interesting colleagues across the organisation both in Kalundborg, Bagsværd and Virum.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, we imagine you have the following qualifications:

  • Academic background within Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant field
  • Extensive experience as Procurement Manager, preferably in project settings, ideally complemented by formal or informal leadership
  • Experience in end-to-end procurement processes within Indirect Spend categories
  • Experience with digital procurement tools (Coupa, ARIBA, SAP or similar)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Danish is an advantage

Possessing experience within construction-related projects as well as familiarity with GxP or the pharmaceutical industry in general would be advantageous.

Direction setting and the management of multiple changes and priorities are well within your capabilities. You demonstrate the ability to work independently while also functioning as a team player, consistently aiming for strong business results. Proactive and possessing a solution-oriented mindset, you tackle tasks with effectiveness and efficiency.

About the department
We Support our PS API Investment Projects, that is responsible for some the largest capacity expansion projects in the pharmaceutical sector. We are anchored in PS API Business Support and therefore have a broad area of responsibility and stakeholders in the organisation.

We are responsible for indirect spend and for defining and driving the indirect procurement strategy. We contribute to a range of optimization projects and provide the insights that shape the way we will do things in the future.
