The role

As a Brand Ambassador for MAC Cosmetics, you will be responsible for greeting, engaging and giving customers a little glimpse of the MAC world. With your expertise and passion for people and make-up, you will share the different brands' story, vision and mission. You will walk the customer through the brand's offering and advise products in accordance with the customer's needs.

You will be reporting to your Department Store Manager in Illum.

The position is a part-time position, based in Illum in Copenhagen. The potential start date will be as soon as possible.

More specifically, you will:

  • Be the go-to person regarding our brands' product launches and drive awareness for the MAC Brand in alignment with the Department Store Manager
  • Be responsible to reach your individual sales' target, keeping track of the counter's turnover
  • Provide exceptional and authentic customer experience by finding the right products based on the customer's needs
  • Monitor stock levels and report to the Department Store Manager in case of any inventory discrepancies
  • Perform services in accordance to the brand's identity and participate in in-store events
  • Administer cashiering and ensure customer satisfaction to improve customer loyalty that will add impact to the business' financial objectives

Qualifications

You are the perfect fit if you:

  • Have a minimum high school diploma / a make-up certificate, or can demonstrate strong make-up artistry skills
  • Have previous retail experience preferably within cosmetics
  • Have make-up or other beauty certificates (this is seen as a plus)
  • Have a genuine interest in the beauty industry and are familiar with the beauty trends
  • Are proficient in a Scandinavian language and in English both in verbal and written communication
  • Are able to work independently and in a team in a dynamic environment
  • Are able to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events
  • Are familiar with Social Media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
