As our WTG Technical Manager , you will manage all technical aspects of wind turbine projects, from early supplier engagement to TSA execution. You will also serve as a project manager, ensuring progress and reporting, while acting as a technical expert on TDDs and VDDs for clients. Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and client meetings are key, with potential for elevation to a Senior role. In addition, you will:

• Act as WTG Technical Manager on behalf of developers during the development phase and/or during execution of the TSA.
• Handle all technical aspects related to early project stage WTG supplier engagement to technical responsibility for TSA execution.
• Act as project manager for clients where technical project management skills and experience are required.
• Ensure overall project progress and report to the project steering committee.
• Act as WTG expert on TDDs and VDDs performed on behalf of clients, reviewing technical documentation, installation methods, and O&M strategies.

In DWP, we have a high focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing across the team and client relations. Therefore, the following tasks would also be part of the role:

• Participate in an internal knowledge sharing forum.
• Support colleagues on tasks when needed.
• Participate and run client meetings.

For the ideal candidate, this position may be elevated to a Senior role, encompassing additional responsibilities and tasks.

This position is based at the DWP office in Silkeborg. The candidate should have the right to live and work in Denmark. Hybrid working will be offered. Travel could be required to client sites on an occasional basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, with expertise in technical document review, client communication, and offshore operations. They will also excel in collaboration, business development, and mentoring within a dynamic team environment. In addition, you:

• Have a degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline.
• Have experience in sales or project management within WTG suppliers or project development in the wind industry.
• Possess proven expertise in offshore wind projects and early-stage WTG development.
• Have a strong background in project planning, coordination, design, specification, testing, and documentation, especially in offshore environments.
• Have an in-depth understanding of WTG design, study, and analysis processes from a developer’s perspective.
• Possess specific expertise in WTG supply, installation, and commissioning standards.
• Have a strong personal drive with a collaborative approach to building partnerships with both external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Exhibit a team-oriented mindset, essential for success in project execution and stakeholder management.

Desirable Competencies:

• Project management training or certification, such as IPMA, is highly desirable.
• Experience with WTG OEMs or Offshore Wind Farm Developers is a strong advantage.
