At Momentum, we have a clear goal to significantly reduce global C02 emissions in the most sustainable way. With an innovative approach, we are at the forefront of the transition from fossil energy to clean energy sources such as wind and solar, positioning ourselves as a central player in the market.

Your areas of responsibility?

Join our M&A team and play a key role in supporting executive management as we build an institutional-grade strategic planning and M&A function. Together, we’ll drive the scaling efforts needed to meet our ambitious strategic investment and growth objectives.

Your work tasks include:

  1. Building and maintaining relationships across the industry, sourcing and managing a pipeline of investment opportunities.
  2. Designing, leading, and coordinating internal/external due diligence workstreams, identifying optimization opportunities, and assessing key issues along with mitigation strategies.
  3. Leading the valuation workstream, including performing financial modelling from scratch and analysing key value drivers.
  4. Negotiating transaction documentation and commercial terms in relation to project financing with financial institutions.
  5. Drafting investment memorandums, presenting them, and managing internal board approvals.
Who are we?

We are a team of 60 passionate professionals based in Roskilde, and you will join our M&A/Investment department. As a member of the team, you will collaborate closely with talented, supportive, and dedicated colleagues. Your role will be integral in cultivating a robust asset pipeline and providing financial modelling support for valuation and development projects.

Momentum wants to be a sustainable workplace and has a strong focus on the personal and professional development, retention, and inclusiveness of our employees. We have a fruit/snacks and lunch scheme, health insurance and flexible working hours with work-life balance, where you have the option of working from home two days a week.

“We are a versatile and international team, unified by our strong analytical skills and curious mindset, both essential pillars guiding our investment decisions across the portfolio” , says Ainura Bizhanova, Head of M&A.

Who are you?

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate with:

  1. At least 2 years of professional experience within corporate finance, M&A and/or project finance.
  2. Knowledgeable and understanding in finance and accounting, with financial modelling skills.
  3. Experience within the renewable energy sector is a plus, but not a requirement.
  4. A great communicator with the ability to speak English.
  5. Essential attributes include versatility, ability to learn very quickly, and a proactive mindset.

We encourage all interested parties regardless of age, gender, religion, or ethnicity to apply for the position.
